New Activities at the San Pierre Branch

During the month of April, the San Pierre Library will be offering all day, drop-in activities.  Bring a project you're working on, get some help, or just to sit and chat with others while you work. Diane Koenig will be there to offer assistance and suggestions.  While there will be a focus each day, you are welcome to bring your projects on days other than the specified one.  

Mondays - Crochet

Wednesdays - Knitting

          Recipe Club - 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The Association for Library Service to Children has assembled some of the best websites for children, particularly to help them with their schoolwork and to feed their curiosity.  Great Websites for Kids brings together really good websites, in an easy-to-use format.  Visit greatsites.ala.org today! 

Knit and Crochet Groups

Looking to learn a new skill, find some time to work on a knit or crochet project, or would you like to socialize while you work on your project? 

Join us for Crochet Class at the Hamlet Branch Library where Sheila Urwiler and Andrea Brown will help you get started, or help you with any problems you are having.  Bring your own yarn and hook.  Classes are every Friday from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Crochet classes are also offered at the Schricker Library in Knox on Mondays from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. and on the first Saturday of each month, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.mAll ages are welcome. All you need to bring is a hook of choice and a skein of yarn. Classes are given by Andrea Brown.  Any questions please call (574) 772-7323.

Whether you’re a life-long knitter, or just getting started, join Svenja Chesna at the Schricker Library on Wednesdays, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  Bring your own yarn and needles.
