Please join the Starke County Public Library for a Grand Opening, celebrating the completion of our new Children's and Young Adult areas. The H.F. Schricker Library in Knox has expanded and added about 6000 square feet for the new area. We are delighted that most of the work is done, and it is now open to the public.
The Starke County Public Library is collaborating with the Indiana State Library, the Military Family Research Institute at Purdue University (MFRI) and public libraries across the state to honor military members, veterans and their families by participating in the annual Our Heroes Tree program. Our Heroes’ Tree is a national program founded to recognize and honor the sacrifices of current service members, veterans, and deceased service members.
The Association for Library Service to Children has assembled some of the best websites for children, particularly to help them with their schoolwork and to feed their curiosity. Great Websites for Kids brings together really good websites, in an easy-to-use format. Visit greatsites.ala.org today!
