More than 700 men and women enlisted from Starke County during World War II.

 

Our photo album represents only a few of those who left their homes behind to defend our freedom.

 

At present there are little more than 40 WWII Veterans left in Starke County.

 

Let’s remember them each Veterans Day on November 11th.
