Meeting Room

The Schricker building in Knox offers a public meeting room.

Meeting Room Information

• The room is available Monday thru Thursday 9-7 PM, Friday 9-5 PM.
• Reservations are on a 1st come 1st serve basis & may be scheduled up to 12 months in advance.
• Groups may not use the meeting room more than once per week w/o approval of the Director.
• Smoking or alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
• Room is not available for purely social functions or family gatherings.
• Room accommodates 53 people when using tables & chairs, 70 people using chairs only.
• Full financial responsibility for any damages incurred will be assumed by the person reserving the room.
• A small refrigerator and microwave are available for use.
• No exhibit of product or service to potential buyers or users may take place on library property w/o prior approval of library Director.

Meeting Room Reservation Requests

Reservations for meeting room use are made @ the Circulation Desk, through the Head of Circulation.

Tentative reservations for the room may be made in person or by phone. A responsible adult will need to come into the library within 2 days to fill out & sign a meeting room application.

After hours use:

A key must be obtained during regular library hours in advance of the meeting.
Doors must be locked after the meeting and keys deposited in the book drop immediately after lock up.

Suggested Rates:

Commercial, industrial, for-profit groups & out of library district users are expected to make a donation for use of the room.
$50.00 all day
$25.00 ½ day
$7.00 per hour
