How to Help Seniors with Short Term Memory Loss

Event Description:

Kathy Newell will tell you the basic symptoms of short term memory loss. It usually starts at age 65 and can get worse as one gets older, if left untreated. You will be given a checklist of potential hazards found in the senior’s home to help check for their safety. If you follow this checklist and institute visual boards, this will help the seniors with day to day living. This class will ease the minds of families living away from the senior with short term memory loss and allow them to check on their family less often. Handouts will be available.
