The library provides 16 computers for patrons to use.

  • 10 computers for Adults
  • 5 computers in the Children's area
  • 1 computer for Genealogy in the Indiana Room

The computers in the adult area may be used by patrons who are high school age and older. (ID may be required to show high school status.) Patrons younger than middle school age may use these PCs only if parent or guardian is present with them at the computer. Middle school students must have a signed parental permission slip, authorized by the circulation staff. There is a 1/2 hour time limit on all computers (except the Genealogy computer) when there are other patrons waiting. Printouts from all the adult PCs may be picked up at the Reference Desk. Black & white printouts are 10 cents per page. Color printouts are 25 cents per page. 

  • 1 computer is located in the Indiana Room for Genealogical use only. This computer has a 1 hour time limit if someone else is waiting to use it.
  • All computers have a version of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel.
  • All computers offer Internet access & Reference Databases.
  • 5 PCs located in the Children's area offer word processing and a variety of educational children's games.
